It was an event to be remembered and talked about for years to come.  And surely, for those that remember there will be small tell-tale reminders for years to come.  "That's where ____ used to be."  "I remember that tree, all decorated for Christmas--to look at it now you wouldn't know it was 30 feet high and perfectly shaped."  Lives and landscapes have changed.

Yet, while we're recalling, where we were, and what we did, and how we pulled together and moved ahead...we should remember that there were no fatalities--we were SO lucky.  With all the things we will miss, we will not be missing PEOPLE.
